Recent government decisions have enforced stricter quarantine parameters and have mandated that public gatherings be limited to 25 or less people. We recognize the urgency in such a request, and it is with a heavy heart that have decided to cancel all of our worship services and gatherings for the next four weeks. Our priority in this decision is everyone’s well being and health.
We are hoping to regather on our mid-week study on April 15, 2020 and our Sunday morning service will resume Sunday April 18, 2020. If we receive information that such quarantine is lifted earlier, we will be resume our normal schedule.
There has been some question about recording messages—we do not as yet have live streaming capability— and posting them for you all to listen to. I will be working out the details for that possibility and will inform all of you if/when that is possible.
These are unprecedented times. Let’s continue to be the church in diaspora by checking on and being available to each other. We ask that you pray for God’s mercy to be upon us all; our family, friends, neighbors and other members of our community. Secondly, redeem this time. Be available to the Lord for what He might want to do within you, and through you to others.
A question has come up regarding giving. If you would like to give during this time, you can mail a check to P. O. Box 421, Sisters, OR 97759
Blessings to you all and look forward to being together again,
Mike, for the elders
